HR Business Partner (m/w/d)

Main Responsibilities

  • To own HR processes and administration for all of Voltimums employee base currently circa 40 employees).
  • To support the CEO in all matters related to employees 
  • To review current HR practices and help establish best practice regarding recruitment, employee on boarding, engagement , retention and all related HR administration
  • You will help us to find talent to support our mission by supporting our recruiting strategies ensuring a strong emphasis on a positive candidate experience (whether hired or not).
  • You will form time to time create and publish customized job postings on suitable job portals and track applicants using our HR System (HRWorks)
  • You will support application process ensuring managers schedule, prioritise, are prepared for candidate interviews and provide timely structured feedback
  • The main contact for external recruiters or agencies 
  • You will establish yourself to be a trustworthy first point of contact for our employees regarding all things HR & help us build an open & collaborative company culture

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • HR Qualification German equivalent of CIPD 
  • You have 3-5  years of experience as an HR Generalist/Business Partner with strong Recruitment admin/support experience
  • Experience of working with employees internationally and with a strong cultural awareness and respect for employees at all levels
  • Experience of working with HR systems and ideally HRWorks
  • Digitally savvy and ideally worked in Digital Media business
  • Experience that demonstrates the ability to build productive relationships, influence/gain confidence of senior management and employees
  • Ability to work on own initiative, unsupervised, to meet deadlines and to manage priorities
  • Strong planning skills to deliver short, medium and long term activities
  • Project management experience in rolling out HR /people initiatives
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German
  • You have an open, positive personality and a high degree of empathy
  • You have a proactive and independent way of working and a growth mindset: you are willing to learn quickly and take over responsibility
  • You enjoy turning an unstructured environment into a structured one, introducing HR systems and implementing processes along the way
