Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities

Voltimum is searching for a rockstar Digital Marketing Executive to join our team based in either London or Heidelberg. Reporting into the COO, this new role requires a highly technical marketing specialist who can hit the ground running and take the lead on all digital marketing initiatives within the business. Leading on the creation, implementation, optimization and reporting of digital marketing and technical projects within the business, along with the ability to provide key insights to maximise marketing performance and enable advanced data-based decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing team with tracking digital marketing campaigns such as PPC, setting up end to end tracking and reporting of the customer journey through to conversion.
  • Support the team in achieving ambitious audience growth goals through digital marketing campaigns.
  • A central support to regional marketing teams by ensuring best practice is followed for all digital marketing across the business.
  • Managing complex websites and other various technical online projects within the business using HTML, CSS and JS.
  • Set up cross-domain tracking as well as advanced reports, segments and goals on Google Analytics.
  • Provide regular reporting and forecasting on digital marketing KPIs and website performance to senior management team.
  • Support lead generation activity through monitoring and reporting on channel performance, lead scoring, ROI and conversion metrics against targets.
  • Setup complex marketing automation campaigns driving leads through the purchase funnel to conversion.
  • Lead on and build comprehensive marketing dashboards for the business to establish campaign performance against KPIs.
  • Working with the Program Manager to ensure successful role out of new loyalty program through creating, owning and executing on digital marketing campaigns with results fully tracked including newsletter and email creation, SEO & SEM.
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, algorithm changes and tools for optimization and driving efficiency within the business.

Key Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other related tracking technologies and tools.
  • Proven experience in driving new qualified sales leads and nurturing through the buying cycle.
  • Hands on experience in creating and optimizing successful PPC, social media and remarketing campaigns.
  • Experience in analyzing website data, multi-channel performance and implementing improvements.
  • Data driven approach with comprehensive experience in A/B testing and growth hacking.
  • Extensive knowledge of SEO and conducting site audits.
  • Self-starter with the ability to problem solve and own projects with minimal input.
  • Experience working with marketing automation tools as well as setting up and tracking complex marketing automation campaigns.
  • Experience working with complex marketing tech stacks.
  • Demonstratable experience in developing marketing strategies which have consistently delivered a strong ROI.
  • Experience of working with HTML, CSS and JS and CMS platforms (Drupal preferred but not essential).
  • Content and creative writing skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Thrives in a fast paced work environment.
  • Experience working for SaaS, tech or ecommerce business a bonus but not essential.
  • German speaking a major bonus!
